Tonight is Cherry Pie

Attention ladies! If you enjoy networking, drinks, nibblies and shopping then you should definitely attend tonight’s Cherry Pie event at Helsinki (15 George St.) starting at 8pm.
I’ve got a fresh batch of cards, accordion albums and new baby books. In fact, tonight’s show is the official launch of my Letter by Letter baby books. Much effort, glue and tears have gone into making them! Bookmaking is pretty time consuming, but these books are true keep-them-forever gifts.

It was great to meet you at Cherry Pie. Where’s your personal blog at?
And yes, the entrepreneurship centre has been doing weekly presentations at Carleton University about small business start-up. Vanessa and I have been attending. They’re the ones who have been scaring the crap out of us with talk of business plans and market research and the like!

Your business plan doesn’t have to be super complicated - even if you just set aside some goals for each year.. it’s better than nothing. Unless you’re using it to get a loan… then the more detail the better.
I think it’s hard to find a balance between spending a lot of time planning and the actual making of your products.
